World Mental Health Day: Don’t suffer in silence – get help and support for common mental health problems
October 10, 2022
Mental Health Day is recognised on 10 October each year.
The theme for 2022, set by the World Federation for Mental Health, is “Make Mental Health and Wellbeing for all a global priority”.
The Trust is committed to ensuring that staff mental health is a priority, and that staff wellbeing is proactively encouraged. Sometimes we all need a helping hand when life’s daily pressures get on top of us. Maybe you are feeling anxious or low in mood or feel more stressed or panicky than usual?
We offer an enhanced wellbeing service and mental health support including a free, confidential, talking therapies service which provides a range of psychological therapies to support people experiencing stress, anxiety, depression, panic or phobias.
Qualified therapists will work with you to find the best treatment for your needs; this could include solution focussed counselling, trauma focussed therapy and EMDR. Consultations are free of charge and delivered face to face or via the telephone.
To book an appointment, please call occupational health on 0121 507 3306, option 1.
