Winter Cycling Challenge
December 15, 2017
Keep cycling this winter with the BCR Winter Cycling Challenge to earn BetterPoints and win prizes!
Birmingham Cycle Revolution has teamed up with BetterPoints, a reward programme with a difference. Register with BetterPoints for the BCR Winter Cycling Challenge and log the time you spend cycling to be eligible to win vouchers every week as well as earning BetterPoints!
Every 10 minutes of cycling logged will earn you 1 BetterTicket entry into a weekly prize draw. Each week 3 lucky winners will receive a £10 Love2Shop voucher.
Cycle 3 days or more a week to earn a 100 BetterPoints bonus, and cycle 150 minutes in one week to receive a 200 BetterPoints bonus!
Join in the fun by competing with other cyclists across the city on the Winter Challenge leader board! Prizes of £50, £25 and £10 vouchers will be awarded to the top 3 cyclists at the end of the 9 week challenge. There will also be a £50 voucher awarded to the most improved new cyclist. All awards will be matched with an equivalent number of BetterPoints going to the charity of choice.
Plus, earn BetterPoints on all your cycling activities and trade points for high street rewards or donate them to charity.
The challenge finishes on Sunday 11 February 2018, but entrants can register at any point during the challenge.

There are plenty of other reasons to keep cycling during winter. Cycling is a great calorie burner, a cheap way to travel and it’s great for your mind as well as your body. There’s nothing like a bit of friendly competition so see if you can involve your colleagues, friends and family too!
