Updated Right Help, Right Time Guidance

Birmingham’s statutory threshold guidance ‘Right Help Right Time’ has
been updated and will be published on Monday 20 January.

The format will be very familiar to all who have used the current guidance.

The revised areas for the new guidance include:

  • New ‘Contents’ section.
  • Revised and clarified consent information.
  • Enhanced guidance throughout for Children.
  • Out of Sight and elective home education.
  • Refreshed indicators in the layers of need.
  • Enhanced information alongside ‘Right Help, Right Time’ relating to learning disabilities
  • Link included to ‘Resolution of Professional.
  • Disagreements about Safeguarding Children’s (previously ‘Resolution and Escalation’) policy.
  • The content reflects the latest Working Together guidance
