The beds are in! – Our Midland Met beds are now here

As we continue to Get Set for Midland Met, our activation work is continuing at a rapid pace. Following the work with our Infection Prevention and Control team that we spoke about last week, 60 brand new beds were delivered to the Midland Met with more to arrive shortly.

As of July, we’re exceeding our expectations with an operational readiness percentage of 50.3 per cent, against a target of 53 per cent. However, it is still crucial for colleagues to remain focused, as there are outstanding actions on our operational readiness checklists to complete together. We’re encouraging colleagues to do the following:

• Look out for the information regarding training on the new automated dispensing cabinets from Omnicell. It is important that you facilitate relevant members of your team attending this training. Take a look at Marsha’s video for more, here.

• Continue to support the interdependency work we are doing to resolve issues between teams

• Dump the junk – it’s never to early to start planning for your move – why not plan some time to have a sort out of things that you don’t need to move to your new location? More information available here.
