Star Awards 2020 Prize for Innovation – Junior doctors’ wellbeing hub/sanctuary

Well done to the Junior doctors’ wellbeing hub/sanctuary on winning this year’s Prize for Innovation!

An enthusiastic and creative team has emerged this year to spearhead wellbeing initiatives. While the remit of this particular team has been junior doctors, they have sought to expand the initiatives to reach all staff groups where possible. The aim has always been to enhance and promote a culture of compassion and connectedness within the Trust – where ordinary human needs are recognised and staff are empowered to deliver excellent care from the starting point of knowing that they themselves are cared for.
