Pressure ulcer prevention event: 8 December

Come and join the tissue viability team and update your knowledge and skills at their  drop in session on Thursday 8 December, 10am – 3.30pm in Conference Room, Sandwell Education Centre.

Topics which will be covered on the day include:

• Pressure ulcer prevention update
• Breakout training sessions on moisture associated skin damage, pressure ulcer categories, Unity
• Have a go at pressure mapping
• Meet the teams – safe guard, orthotics, fundamentals of care
• Pressure relieving equipment advice
• Product updates – continence, barrier skin protection, pressure relief equipment

Note: Light refreshments will be provided throughout the day and no booking is required.
