PC Desktop Issues

Over the past three weeks you may have experienced issues when logging in to your computer, either with it taking a long time to login, icons missing or files not being visible on your desktop.

The initial problem was caused by an overrunning backup and has led to additional complexities we’ve been trying to solve.

Over the next few days we will roll out a fix that should resolve the performance issues.

This will be done in four groups of users rather than the whole Trust in one go with the work concluding early next week.

We will notify you once this is complete. If once finished you are missing documents from your desktop please let us know via the IT Service Desk portal (http://servicedesk.swbh.nhs.uk/) and we will work to restore the documents.
