National Apprenticeship Week 2021
February 9, 2021
This week is National Apprenticeship Week. The annual week-long celebration of apprenticeships aims to shine a light on the amazing work being done by employers and apprentices across the country.
To celebrate the awareness week, throughout this week, we will be promoting and sharing content around out apprentices and their fantastic contributions and efforts.
Natalie Brown, Theatre Support Assistant – Healthcare Support Worker Level 2
“I’m currently working as a theatre support assistant. This is my first clinical role so everything is new to me as I previously worked in an administration role and studied business administration. The one stand out thing I learnt as an apprentice is that everyone makes mistakes and its part of learning so you shouldn’t be afraid to own up to mistakes if you make them. Moving forward from my apprenticeship I have gained invaluable knowledge in my chosen profession and I’m certain the skills I have obtained will take me further up the career ladder where my long term goal is to eventually become an operating department practitioner.”
