Missing people survey
February 15, 2022
The charity Missing People work with key bodies in police, health and social care to inform good practice in how both children and adults are reported missing.
If you have experience of reporting anyone as missing or working with those who have, Missing People would like to hear from you. They are trying to better understand people’s experiences of reporting someone as missing to the police and whether there are any changes needed to practice.
Note: This is specifically about the point of reporting when carers/families/professionals first contact the police, they are not asking about the ongoing missing investigation.
If you wish to complete the survey you can do so by visiting www.smartsurvey.co.uk/s/Reportingmissing/. The survey should take no longer than 10 minutes.
All responses will be anonymous and will be used to inform future practice.
