Microbiology and blood bank reporting issue affecting results in Unity

Black Country Pathology Service are currently experiencing IT issues which are affecting the reporting of microbiology and blood bank results through to Unity.

Urgent results, significant abnormal results and urgent rapid COVID-19 results will be phoned through.

Please don’t phone the laboratory unless essential and continue to use electronic requesting as usual.

We apologise for any inconvenience. The problem is currently being investigated by Black Country Pathology Service IT suppliers and further updates will follow.
