We’re excited to advertise this new secondment opportunity as lead AHP support worker’ (AfC Band 5). The successful candidate will work with our chief allied health professional and healthcare scientist to champion the AHP support workforce agenda across the Trust. We have funding for this role part-time (0.4 WTE) for a 4-month secondment in the first instance.
Applications are welcome from AHP support workers from dietetics, speech and language therapy, physiotherapy, operating department practice, orthoptics, orthotics, occupational therapy, radiography or podiatry.
The successful candidate will create a new AHP support worker group and develop AHP support workers in line with the allied health professions’ support worker competency, education and career development framework.
