Disruption to traffic on Hallam Street at Sandwell Hospital

Cadent Gas Limited are carrying out essential gas work on Hallam Street that is planned to last approximately 39 weeks, there will be two periods of preparatory work – 16 to 20 March 2018 and 6 to 10 April 2018. The main works will commence 23 April 2018 and are due to finish on 21 December 2018.

The first preparatory works will begin on Friday 16 March until Tuesday 20 March. This will require 2-way temporary traffic lights situated outside Hallam Court, Hallam Street.

Further notifications will be sent out via Staff Communications nearer to the commencement date of each phase, accompanied by detailed maps.

 Whenever the use of traffic management is needed, the contractors will work with the Trust and Local Authority Highways Department to try and keep any disruption to a minimum, but there may well be an impact both to the traffic flow and to the access/exit from our car parks at times during the length of the works.
