The advanced practice framework is to help professionals, managers and co-ordinating educational supervisors on how advanced practice (AP) roles can be utilised and maximised to deliver best patient outcomes and provide guidance on AP and trainee AP (TAP) governance to ensure a Trust wide consistent standards in development, training, supervision and post qualification support that is aligned with the latest national guidelines.
