A reminder of drop offs for community bloods

Due to the relocation of pathology labs from City and Sandwell sites, community blood requests need to be transferred to be processed at Midland Metropolitan University Hospital (MMUH). This ensures they will have the appropriate turnaround time. For this to happen it is important for them to be dropped off at the correct places.

Community bloods need to be dropped off at Sandwell Pathology, Rowley Regis or the drop box in ED at MMUH. If they are dropped off elsewhere they risk being transferred to the wrong site for analysis which will delay and possibly compromise results.
