Screening and treating sepsis

  1. NEWS >5 = screen for sepsis by completing the Sepsis Action Tool.
  2. If positive Red flag Sepsis = Sepsis 6 in 1Hr.
  3. If negative re-screen 12 hours later if NEWS remains >5.
