16 years supporting our patients: Doug Webb

Doug Webb, porter will be retiring after working for 16 years in our portering services team. He started with the Trust in 2003 and has been part of the Sandwell portering team ever since.

A retirement celebration was hosted at the Sandwell porters break room which was organised by Doug’s fellow colleagues from portering services and the post room.

Doug said: “I would like to say a massive thank you to all the staff I have worked with over the last 16 years as a well as a special thank you to the porters and the post room staff who organised my celebration. I will miss them all very much.”

As part of his retirement, Doug plans to go travelling in his caravan across the country as well as spend more time with his grandchildren.

The Trust would like to thank Doug for his hard work and dedication to the organisation and wish him a happy retirement.
