100 days of Midland Met
January 14, 2025
Today, Tuesday, 14 January, marks the end of our first 100 days at Midland Met.
Our move to our new hospital was a huge part of 2024. Now, 100 days after the move, Chief Operating Officer, Johanne Newens, reflects on some of our achievements and some of the projects underway as we move forward.
In an exclusive video, Jo thanks colleagues across all sites for the part they played and their continued hard work and commitment. The first 100 days have covered a lot of ground, and we continue to work on projects to enhance how we do things at Midland Met, such as improving agile working and wayfinding.
We’ve seen positive stats on operational performance, transformations to our clinical pathways, and an improved staff experience. Importantly, this winter, we have an array of side rooms on wards, a big positive for infection prevention and control, providing a better patient experience, and better equipping us to cope with infections such as flu.
Watch Jo’s update to discover how we’ll continue to listen and act on your feedback as we settle into business as usual.
