Chief Executive’s Message – Friday 11 October

Dear colleagues,

Most of my Friday message today is in video form – words didn’t seem to do this week justice.

Please do take five minutes to watch the video, which covers two very important milestones.

• We have successfully moved over 170 patients from Sandwell to Midland Metropolitan University Hospital – thanks to the hard work, professionalism and discretionary effort from our staff.
• Working here at Midland Met, is an exciting place to be, however this building can only work if we work and behave differently, from our administration duties to operational duties. We want to ensure that this hospital works to its full benefit for both our staff and patients – the Midland Met way.
