We have an exciting opportunity to work as a specialist nurse within the Targeted Lung Health Check programme.
This is a secondment for 12 months to cover maternity leave. Flexible hours can be considered.
The overall purpose of the Targeted Lung Health Check (TLHC) programme is to enable the early detection of lung cancer in order to save lives. Sandwell and West Birmingham and the West Midlands Cancer Alliance has identified high disease and smoking prevalence areas within the Black Country, where a significant impact can be made from detecting early stage lung cancer.
The service has been running for 12 months and has established pathways and rhythm of working.
The post holder will be expected to specialist nursing knowledge and care to the patients within the TLHC programme.
