Brand new logistics team roles available

To support the successful opening of Midland Met, we have several interim positions available in our brand new logistics team. These roles are open to all colleagues already signed up with the Bank.

These roles offer flexibility with a variety of shifts available during weekdays, weekends, and both day and night shifts. Roles available include logistics team leader, warehouse operative and general transport drivers. We also have some warehouse operative roles available at Sandwell Hospital.

Positions are available over the following days and hours:

• General Transport Drivers: Monday – Friday.
• Logistics Operatives: Available on weekdays, weekends with day and night shifts.
• Logistics Team Leader: Working shifts across seven days.

This is what the roles entail:

• Logistics Team Leader: Overseeing the day-to-day management of the logistics team, ensuring goods are received, and waste is disposed of safely and efficiently.
• General Transport Driver: Responsible for transporting laundry (clean and dirty), stock, and delivering/collecting equipment, notes, and confidential letters to hospitals and GPs.
• Logistics Operative: Supporting the logistics team with tasks like checking and signing for products, loading and moving cages plus more.
