Management of change – phase three drop in sessions now available

March 21, 2024

Midland Metropolitan University Hospital (MMUH) is set to open its doors to patients later this year. This means a large majority of our staff will be moving to the new hospital.

An essential part of getting us ready is to ensure that our staff feel confident and well- informed about the upcoming change in their work base. This necessitates a formal consultation to address role adjustments and prepare for the new hospital’s opening.

The MMUH change of base consultation period has now formally commenced and informal drop-in sessions are available to anyone who has queries associated with the MMUH move.

  • Monday 25 March: 12pm – 1pm, Hallam Restaurant, Sandwell
  • Thursday 28 March: 10am – 11am, MMUH Hub, City (opposite Arches cafe)
  • Wednesday 3 April: 3pm – 4pm, online – click here to join the meeting

You can come along and ask any generic questions to the management of change (MoC) team, if you can’t find what you are looking for within the consultation documentation or on the MMUH intranet pages. Our friendly teams running the sessions will also be able to signpost you to the right place if they are unable to answer your question.

If your query is in relation to a potential barrier that could impact on you moving to MMUH, you must raise this directly with your line manager, who will arrange an individual consultation meeting to explore this further with you.

If you have any queries about these sessions or want to join one of the sessions over Teams, please email laura.bennett59@nhs.net.
