Patient initiated follow-up open session

Patient Initiated follow-up (PIFU) has been highlighted as one way to restore and transform NHS elective care and ensure best use of capacity following COVID-19. This hinges on avoiding unnecessary follow-ups while transforming the quality of care outpatient services are offering, ensuring patients are seen at the right time as well as empowering them to take control of their own health in line with the personalised care agenda.

An open session will be delivered by NHSE Midlands via the Microsoft Teams platform aimed at both clinical and non-clinical colleagues tomorrow (Wednesday 5 October) from 1pm – 2pm
