Staff network day at Sandwell: 11 May

As part of the relaunch of the staff networks, a special event will be taking place on Wednesday 11 May to coincide with Staff Networks Day at Sandwell courtyard gardens, 10.30am – 2.30pm.

The following teams will be in attendance should you want to find out more about their networks or teams:

  • Disability and Long Term Conditions Staff Network
  • Women’s Clinical Network
  • Women’s Network
  • Muslim Liaison Group
  • Chaplaincy team

Introducing the LGBTQA+ Network

The LGBTQA+ Network is a group of individuals who self-identify as being LGBTQA+ or are an ally of LGBTQA+ colleagues. The core aim of the network is to promote equality, diversity, inclusion and pride in our LGBTQA+ colleagues and to support the Trust to deliver better services for all, both colleagues and patients The network wants to improve the working lives of LGBTQA+ colleagues by empowering them to feel safe and able to bring their whole selves to work.

In the video below, network vice chair, Andrew Churm, Matron, Community Nursing Services talks about the network’s priorities for the coming year and encourages everyone to find out more about how they can get involved.
