Trust security update
November 16, 2021
We heard the terrible news of an explosion at Liverpool Women’s Hospital that occurred on Sunday 14 November. Our thoughts are with all involved.
This incident is currently being led by Counter Terrorism Police and is continuing at pace.
Incidents such as this are very rare and there is currently no direct threat to our Trust or the NHS as a whole. We would however urge all colleagues to remain calm but vigilant.
Further advice on the actions to take during such incidents can be found here.
Action Counters Terrorism (ACT) awareness e-learning is available via the security web pages on Connect.
To report an incident please contact the security team on ext. 2222. If it is an emergency please call the police on 999.
