The Trust has notified suppliers that they are introducing a best practice programme which requires suppliers to demonstrate compliance throughout all departments of the hospitals. This is to supports colleagues and patient safety in their dealings with company representatives so that policies and processes are not unwittingly bypassed and aims to ensure that Trust standards for the care of patients are maintained when company representatives are present.
