Sandwell chiller replacement today in ED

The chiller unit on the top of Sandwell ED roof is scheduled to be replaced today meaning there will be a crane on site to undertake the lift.

In order to facilitate this replacement, the ambulance bay will temporarily blocked off leaving only ambulance access to the current red stream into ED. The barrier in the bay will be unlocked to allow ambulance conveyance to the main doors and our estates team will be in place to direct any traffic. 

Colleagues are reminded to be vigilant when passing through this area of the Sandwell site and only access this area if absolutely necessary.
