New room booking system to launch in March 2018

March will see the launch of our new room booking system called ‘BOOKED’.
This new system will replace the current Gingco system and will allow you to see at a glance which venues are available for you to reserve.
You will continue to access it via Connect and will log in using your windows log in details.
BOOKED will give you access to the majority of venues across the organisation, including in the Education Centre at Sandwell Hospital, however you will not be able to use it to book individual desks.
As with Gingco there are venues that cannot be booked without approval and gatekeepers have been identified to make the necessary authorisations, the venue must have been authorised before any advert or invite is sent out.
Within the Education Centre and the Post Graduate Centre there are venues that don’t require such authority however, where a booking is made for such a venue on the same day, contact with the appropriate centre must be made before the booking is confirmed to ensure that the venue is accessible.
