European Swallowing Awareness Day 2018 – Wednesday 14 March

Wednesday 14 March is European Swallowing Awareness Day.

The Speech and Language Therapy Team will be raising awareness of swallowing difficulties (dysphagia) and showing how we help patients.

Throughout the day the team will be based at City Hospital (near Arches Canteen) and Sandwell Hospital (near main lifts).

Please come along during the day to take part in games, learn about swallowing problems and most importantly, how you can support your patients with eating and drinking difficulties.
