Are you looking for the best treatment to lower your blood pressure?

February 22, 2018

If you are between 18-65 years old, you could take part in a project looking to see if treatment for high blood pressure should be ‘personalised’. Blood pressure experts, supported by the Medical Research Council and the British Hypertension Foundation, are running a clinical trial that will help find the best treatment for each individual.

You must have high blood pressure as described by your GP and can be on up to three antihypertensive drugs. You will be screened before being accepted onto the study. Once enrolled you will be asked to attend the Institute for Cardiovascular Sciences  every four weeks.
