Important changes to blood collection

Following the installation of new blood fridges at Sandwell and City, all colleagues who have previously completed blood collection as part of their mandatory training must be retrained in using the new fridge before they will be able to collect blood, even if their training is in date.

Note: If colleagues haven’t been retrained they will not be able to collect blood.
