Night worker questionnaire
The working time regulations require employers to offer regular health checks to night workers every 12 months.
If you or any of your colleagues you manage work for at least 3 hours between the hours of 11pm-6am (regardless of frequency) please complete the night worker questionnaire and then send it back to the occupational health and wellbeing service. The questionnaire aims to find way of how to better support colleagues who work between the hours of 11pm-6am.
You can access the questionnaire by clicking the link below:

For more information please contact an occupational health on ext. 3306.

Informatics: Improving security over the next two weeks
Over the next two weeks Informatics will be deploying changes to PCs that improve their security. These changes will restrict the applications that run on the PC to those authorised by Informatics.
If you try to load an application that is blocked, you may see one of the two warnings shown below:
This warning means the application has been blocked by the Informatics team. If you need access to the application, the Informatics Third Line team must enable your access to the application. A request should be made via the service desk giving the application name (e.g. Chrome), publisher (e.g. Google) and the business reason for accessing the application.
If you see the warning above, this means an aspect of that website you are trying to access is being blocked by the new security rules. In order to enable access to the site a call should be logged with the Informatics service desk that includes the website address (URL) and the purpose the site is being used for.
All sites ending nhs.uk have already been approved.
